NEW: DWP CHANGES / LIFE CERTIFICATES
The British Consulates no longer witness Life Certificates on behalf of the Department for Work & Pensions. Please check the www.gov.uk/countersigning-passport-applications for a list of recognised professionals who can witness Life Certificates.
Our fees are not refundable. While Consular staff will give you as much advice as they can, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are obtaining the correct service. If you are unsure, you may wish to take legal advice before booking the service. Please note that fees are subject to change without notice.
HOW TO PAY
Fees are payable by credit/ UK debit cards (Electron, MasterCard and Visa) or TL in cash.Credit card payments will be charged in Sterling regardless of the country of issue. Cash payments will be accepted in Turkish Lira only and charged at the Consular rate of exchange applicable on the day of application.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please note that you will have to pass through Security upon arrival at the Consulate. You should expect your belongings to be checked, and you will have to leave your telephone with the Security Officer. Please do not bring laptops or other electronic devices. Please arrive in advance of your appointment.
If you need to cancel or modify your booking, you will be able to do so by following the link in the confirmation e-mail.
All documents provided must be originals. Also, you must produce a valid passport or Turkish ID card.
